Mt Petrie Rd Park Picnic Facilities Upgrade

Mt Petrie Rd Park, Mackenzie is getting some much needed upgrades to it’s picnic facilities including new furnishings and upgrades to existing areas.

Project details

 The Mt Petrie Road Park picnic facility upgrade includes: 

·       Installation of two new picnic shelters & associated new picnic settings

·       Installation of connecting pathways to two new picnic shelters

·       Installation of one new picnic setting at the existing rotunda

Project timeframes

The project is scheduled to start on Monday, 23 February 2026 and be completed by Friday, 20 March 2026, weather permitting.

 The work will be conducted Monday to Friday between 7am and 5pm.

We anticipate minimal disruption to the park users. The construction areas will be fenced off for the duration of the works. All other park facilities will remain open during the construction phase.
