Grandview Pl Park concept design released

I am pleased to announce that Council has now awarded the contract for Grandview Pl Park with construction to commence in the week starting April 3rd.

The new playground is set in a native colour scheme, and comes with a massive 6 metre slide that will run down the hill.

It will also include shade sails, although these are not shown on the above rendering as this is from before the design was finalised.

I’d like to take the time to thank all of the local residents who had their say on the design of the playground as it would not have been possible without their feedback.

In order to maximise the playground’s potential, Council has shifted the location due to size constraints at the previously gazetted location of the playground, shifting it closer to Crown Place as shown below.

Construction is estimated to be completed by May this year, weather and supply chain permitting, and once finished I will be sure to hold an opening party!

I very much look forward to seeing the final product and celebrating with the community once the playground is finished!
