Wakerley Carols are back this Saturday!

I am thrilled to invite you to the 8th Annual Wakerley Carols at Wakerley Park this Saturday, 4 December 2021.

Through the ups and downs of 2021, it’s refreshing now to come together as a community and celebrate this festive time of year.

Wakerley Carols will be jam packed with live, local entertainment, food trucks, rides, face painting, an animal farm, a pop-up library, a visit from Santa and of course, the fireworks finale!

This year I’m hosting a competition to decide who gets to ‘pull the lever’ for the 8pm fireworks!

Visit my marquee on the day to enter the competition by telling me what you love most about Christmas.

Entries close at 6:30pm, so don’t miss out on your chance to light up the sky!

As always, entry to this event remains 100% FREE and open to EVERYONE.

A very special thanks to our generous sponsors, Vuly and Todd Gerhardt Realty and the very talented volunteers from Carindale Rotary Club.

Wakerley Carols 2019

This event will be operating under the COVID-Safe guidelines in force at the time, as per Queensland Health directives, so please don’t forget to check-in as you enter the grounds.

With the last Wakerley Carols taking place two years ago now, the Christmas event of the year in Chandler Ward is making a strong comeback in 2021.

See you there with your picnic blanket and best singing voice!
