Kerbside collection resumes - updated dates March 2022
I’m pleased to announce that kerbside collection is resuming after being temporarily paused to assist in the cleanup of the floods.
The flood affected items cleanup collected nearly 50,000 tonnes of waste and was very successful in helping clean up Brisbane.
Under our new schedule, the suburbs skipped over the pause period are having their annual collection rescheduled to the Easter School Holidays.
Newnham & Wecker Rd Upgrade construction begins
The roadwork signs are out, the plans have been finalised and the funding has been allocated.
I’m pleased to announce that the Newnham/Wecker Rd intersection upgrade is underway, which means that improved safety, connectivity, network reliability and reduced congestion are only a few months away.
