Bus and Metro Changes in Chandler Ward
Brisbane’s New Bus Network is coming on Monday 30 June. Here’s what you need to know about buses in Chandler Ward:
✅These routes are not changing: 180, 200, 209, 213, 222, 225, 227, 590, 598, 599.
🤝These routes will be amalgamated:
P173 becomes 172, 174 becomes 175, 178 becomes 177, 184 becomes 185, P207 becomes 217
🎭These routes will be renumbered, with some suburban and CBD changes:
170 becomes 179, and now terminates at UQ instead of Queen Street. Get on a metro at Greenslopes or Buranda to continue travel to the city (King George Square/City Hall) via busway.
P179 becomes 183, realigned in Wishart and new CBD realignment.
P205 becomes 205 and upgraded to all day service with new stops added on Chatsworth Rd and terminating at Roma St.
🚌These routes will have suburban & CBD changes:
113, 170 (becomes 179), 171, 172, 176, 181, 185, 201, 208
🏙️These routes will have CBD changes:
175, 204, 206, 212, 215, 216, 217, 220, 221
🏡These routes will have suburban changes:
177 with new terminus at Griffith University Station
202 with new terminus at PA Hospital (Cornwall St) via Buranda station
203 with new terminus at PA Hospital via Buranda station & busway.
🎉New bus route 182 introduced to service Mansfield, Wishart, Mount Gravatt. Covering areas previously serviced by routes 174, 184 and 185.
👂 These changes came about from consultation undertaken as part of the bus network review. A total of 64 pieces of feedback were received from Chandler Ward residents as part of that consultation.

📚School routes:
Changes were implemented in January 2025. To see how connecting suburban routes may be changing please use Translink’s Journey Planner.
Journey Planner allows you to search one month in advance. School holidays run from 28 June to 13 July. On 16 June, you will be able to search 14 July, which is the first day back of school. Connecting suburban routes that run on a school day will then be visible.
