Newbury Pl Park, Dog Off-Leash Area Upgrade

Council is conducting upgrades to the Newbury Pl Park, Dog Offleash Area over the coming weeks. These works are to improve the already popular dog park to cater for the growing number of users.

 

Project details

The Newbury Place Park small dog off leash facility upgrade includes:

•              The removal of the existing small dog area fencing

•              The realignment of the internal fencing, to increase the size of the small dog off leash facility

•              New 68 lineal metres x 1.2m high x 2.4m long standard black DOLA fencing

•              New maintenance gates

•              Concrete strip to be installed under new fence.

•              New concrete footpath connecting from entry void of small DOLA to nearby shelter.

 

Project timeframes

The project is scheduled to start on Monday 3rd November and be completed by 28th November 2025, weather permitting.

The work will be conducted Monday to Friday between 7am and 5pm.

 

For local residents

Council anticipates minimal disruption to the park users. The Small dog off leash area will be fenced off for the duration of the works.

The Large dog off leash area will remain open.
