Our Community
We offer a number of free services and items for hire to community groups, service clubs, sporting organisations, schools, not-for-profit organisations, charities and churches located within the Chandler Ward.
If you are not sure whether your organisation meets the criteria to utilise these services, please email chandler.ward@bcc.qld.gov.au with the specific details of your request.
MARQUEES
There are four 3m x 3m marquees available to hire from the Chandler Ward Office.

PRINTING OF COMMUNITY NEWSLETTERS
We are able to provide black and white printing services to community groups based within the Chandler Ward.
Email us with your document in PDF or Word format, let us know how many you need and we'll do the rest.
Black and white only.
PROMOTION ON OUR COMMUNITY NOTICEBOARD
If your community group has an event coming up in the Chandler Ward area we are able to help promote it on our Community Noticeboard.
Email us your info and images, or event flyer and we'll do the rest.
GRAFFITI REMOVAL KITS
If you or your community group has had property graffitied, pop into my office to grab a free graffiti removal kit.
The kit includes a spray solution and instructions on how to best remove graffiti from different surfaces.
No booking ahead neccessary.
COMMUNITY GRANTS
Your community group might be eligible to apply for a grant from the Lord Mayor’s Community Fund.
